As a Virtual Assistant there's a couple things that you SHOULD be doing and there's a couple things that you SHOULDN'T be doing. Let’s chat about some DO’s & DON’Ts as a Virtual Assistant 👇🏼
The Do’s:
Price accordingly: Take time to establish your pricing, know your pricing AND be confident in your pricing. Take the time to assess your skills, expertise and the value that you bring to your clients. If your monthly income goal is $5000, would you rather have 5 clients at $1000 or 10 clients at $500?
Overdeliver: Show your clients why you price the way you do! Setting yourself apart from other VA’s is not only about meeting expectations but also exceeding them! You show up on time, you go above and beyond, and you’re darn good at it. Doing this will build trust and loyalty between you and your client.
The Don’ts:
Negotiate the same services for lower prices: I’m not saying don’t negotiate ever. If a client has a max budget of $1000 and you proposed $1500 for those services, you can offer another proposal at $1000 with LESS services included. Instead of compromising on your rates, you can consider offering alternative solutions that align with your clients budget.
Under-deliver: I have TOO many clients who have had bad experiences with VAs. I hate that, don’t be them!😂 Avoid overcommitting yourself and taking on more than you can handle! Be sure to prioritize quality over quantity and do your best to exceed expectations with every chance you get!
By following these do’s and don’ts you can elevate your virtual assistant career and become one of the best in the industry! And keep in mind, it’s not just about completing tasks, it’s about adding value, building trust, and bringing positive growth for your clients business.
You got this! 🫶
